When will you finish Dragon of Mirrors?

This year. Before I can release The Black Hat, the fourth book has to be ready for preorder.

Will there be more after the Dragon of Mirrors?

Yes! The series concludes, but the journey doesn’t end there!

How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?
A lot. I’m trying to focus on one series at a time. You can find more information on them on my Books page.

Have you ever gotten writer’s block?
Contrary to popular belief, I don’t believe there is such a thing. I do believe there is a life block, meaning; life happens. There are responsibilities or things that require your attention. I can imagine being tired from a long day and not wanting to write. It’s alright to have a busy life. We need to take care of ourselves first, after all. But sometimes you just have to write when you don’t want to. Most of my best ideas came while I was uncomfortable or slammed with a deadline.

Did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
Quite a lot. I didn’t understand my audience then and I cared too much about what folks thought. Now I have a clearer view, and I have a lot of experience on my belt.

Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?

Oh yeah, and I think most authors love to put easter eggs.

What period of your life do you find you write about most often? (child, teenager, young adult)

From middle school to high school, I wrote a series of twelve stories.
